Owned and run by Anthony and Ness Dutton and their three young children, it provides a refreshing mixture of rural tranquillity and busy family life. Situated in the centre of the triangle of Bath, Bradford-on-Avon and Wells, Charlton Farm provides the perfect base to explore these beautiful historic towns, as well as the huge range of local sites and attractions throughout the south west. Both bed and breakfast and self catering accommodation are available, with the emphasis on providing a relaxed, flexible and comfortable place to stay, while also providing excellent value for money. It is not a working farm, but there are plenty of friendly animals around – dogs, cats, chickens, goats and sheep, as well as walks and cycle rides in the beautiful Somerset countryside right from the doorstep. With a young family of their own, Anthony & Ness are very aware of the difficulty in finding good holiday accommodation that suits everyone – in response to this they offer every possible amenity to make a holiday or short break easier for parents of babies and young children – from travel cots to trampolines, from wetwipes to wellies, we’ve got it all. Most importantly we’ll do all the cooking for you (childrens tea and then adults dinner once they’re asleep upstairs) and we have an abundance of patience, understanding and flexibility!
